A Board of Regents Meeting was held on May 13th to discuss the proposed plans of the Brackenridge Tract. Public comments were heard and the overwhelming words of Austin locals were in favor of saving Lions Municipal Golf Course.
Golf Digest makes a stop at Lions Municipal Golf Course
Max Adler, Assistant Editor at Golf Digest, played with three "Legends of Lions" on April 21st, 2010 at Lions Municipal to experience the rich history of this hallowed course. Adler is in the midst of a 60-day road trip across America celebrating the 60th Anniversary of Golf Digest.
Legends of Lions
The "Legends of Lions" were honored on April 17th, 2010 at Lions Municipal. The public showing of love for this golf course was heart warming as the rain stayed away just long enough for the "Legends of Lions" Tournament to be completed.
