Ask Rep. Abel Herrero to Save Muny!
Senate Bill 822 is being considered by the Texas Legislature. The bill would protect the historic Lions Municipal Golf Course from commercial development. UT Regents have said they prefer to develop the historic land. As Chairman of the Land and Resource Management Committee, Herrero has the power to help keep this urban green space and civil rights landmark from being demolished.
Please Contact Chairman Herrero and ask him to call for a vote on SB 822.

Dear Chairman Herrero:
I am writing to ask that you please preserve Lions Municipal Golf Course by calling for a vote on Senate Bill 822. The University of Texas Board of Regents have said they prefer to commercially develop this urban green space and civil rights landmark. This bill would protect the historic land -- it's the right thing to do.
