The University of Texas Board of Regents received two proposals from the New York firm of Cooper Robertson and Partners, calling for development of the Brackenridge Tract which will drastically alter the traffic, ambience and culture of our West Austin neighborhood. Not to mention the destruction of the great historical green space that is Lions Municipal Golf Course. Save Muny, our grass roots organization that was formed with a mission to educate and inform the public of the potential negative effects of such development, urges you to write letters of concern to the members of the Board of Regents, the Chancellor of the University of Texas System, the President of the University of Texas, City Council Members and Austin local media.
